I have once again been awarded a Highly Commended for one of my images in the March SWPP Competition. This is a global competition and there are hundreds of entries, so to receive this award is absolutely fantastic. I am extremely proud and all the winners go forward to the grand finale in January next year at the SWPP Gala Dinner and Awards Presentation which is also a great event to attend. Here’s the image for you all to enjoy.
A great Lighting Workshop this morning – one light, endless possibilities. It doesn’t necessarily mean it has to be electric light!! We also tried natural light with reflectors. Many thanks to all who came and I hope you went away with something new to try or some little tip that will enhance your photography. Thank you to Allyson England, Carla Hodgson, Chris Kot and Robin Orrow. If you are looking to try studio work or just need a starter for 10 with lighting, get in touch to book your workshop.
I shall be holding my first lighting workshop on Saturday 4th April 10.00 – 1.30pm. Starting with the basics you will learn how to use one light to the maximum and get to practice your skills with a professional model. You’ll have some great images to take away. If you would like to book your space, hurry!! Spaces are limited now but if you get in quick……!!
Leah Reece George and Ella came to see me today for a family portrait session and Ella’s 1st Cherubs session. I first met Leah and Reece when I photographed their wedding in 2013. Since then Ella has come into the family as a lovely little sister for George. Here’s a sneak peek for you all to enjoy.
Can’t wait for my new products to arrive! They will be here very soon and I can’t wait to show them to you all! Watch this space. Comment, share & enjoy!!
I’ve been neglecting my blog recently and I apologise for not keeping you all up to date. Here is the first of many posts to come out over the next few days so keep an eye on my blog. Jessica bought her Mummy back today for her 2nd Cherubs session. We have great fun with her building tubs, Mickey and Minnie Mouse and a suitcase! Here’s a sneak peek for you all and Mummy & Daddy can come back for their personal viewing of all the images soon xx Comment share & enjoy!
The last Marmite Tots sessions were a great success! So much so I shall be running them again next month – watch out on Facebook for more details and how to take part. It’s completely free to participate and, judging by the last sessions, great fun! Here’s a few of my favourites, some likers, some not!! Comment, share & enjoy!!
Entering competitions focuses your mind and keeps me on the straight and narrow. It also allows me to experiment with images and help me to constantly evaluate and improve my images. I’m pleased to announce I was awarded a Gold for another of my greyhound images in the Pet Portrait Category of the SWPP Monthly Competition. If you’re looking for a memorable portrait of your pet, get in touch to book your session now! Comment, share & enjoy!!
I have decided to carry out some personal projects this year as mentioned in my last blog and the Marmite Tots has started. I thought I would post my first couple of lovely volunteers for your enjoyment – Amber and Bailey! It’s completely free to take part. If you would like to volunteer or know someone who would please email me at email@example.com or message me here. Participants ideally need to be able to sit unaided but not yet walking and obviously never had Marmite before! Comment, share & enjoy!
